Biography - Frederick Schroeder

I'm a retired professional civil engineer and management consultant.  Born in Denver, I moved to Southern California at the age of 12.  I attended Jr. High School and High School in San Diego, followed by an Engineering Science degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Pepperdine University.  For 40 years, I worked as an engineering manager on various water supply and sewerage projects in the United States and more than 30 foreign countries.  After retirement,I returned to Denver where I spend my time dabbling with furniture making, pottery, and creating glass pieces.  Above all, I spend as much time as possible with my 9 year old grandson, who consistently bests me in swimming, running and pickleball.  I recently did a sprint triathlon with my oldest daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter and two grandsons.
